2.1   Membership Application

By now you've read what CRMM is all about. You understand that in addition to the fun and fellowship of riding with fellow Christians, the primary purpose of CRMM is sharing the message of Jesus Christ with the unsaved and helping others grow in their faith.

Is this something that you want to be a part of? So what are you waiting for? We have three types of memberships available to you; Regular Member, Solo Saint, and Chapter Elder.

All you have to do to be a part of this inspiring ministry is to complete our membership application, have your pastor sign off on it, and then return it to us - it's that simple!

We do recognize that with large/mega churches the senior pastor may not be easy to access, and may well not even know you. If that is the case, then we will accept a recommendation from an associate pastor, church elder, small-group leader, or even the chapter elder. This is our way of "separating the wheat from the chaff", as there needs to be care in receiving members into this ministry. In essence our application process is our winnowing fork. We need to know that our applicants are faithfully attending a local church and that they are of true Christian character.

You’ve probably taken a look at our application and wondering why we ask for your testimony of faith in Christ. An obvious answer comes from the Bible, “Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart.” (1 John 5:10). We're looking to see that you have a credible profession of faith and that you understand the message of Jesus Christ. We are also looking for a written affirmation of your character; we'll call it a personal recommendation.

Obtaining a pastor/ministry leader's recommendation and providing your testimony will also show us that you are motivated and committed to being an active member with CRMM. We don't want to treat membership into this ministry casually as it would send the message that membership is casual. We want members actively serving, giving of their gifts, talents, and God given resources. We want members that will help fulfill this ministry’s vision and purpose. Christianity, properly understood, is not a casual spectator sport. It requires personal involvement. How effective would a ministry be if its members were just spectators observing rather than participating? Being a disciple of Christ means trying to become like Christ and also sharing the message of Him with the unsaved.
